The head of the Initiative, Fatmir Limaj, has reacted on the 20th anniversary of the liberation act against him in The Hague. He has said the International Court of The Hague spoke clearly “The war of the Kosovo Liberation Army was fair, clean and in defense of a people struggling to live free”.
Limaj says the confrontation at The Hague was long and challenging.
Our judicial appearance in The Hague was long and challenging. At that time Kosovo was not a state and we were without institutional care, without organised protection, as we should have in such a judicial process. Both we as individuals and the truth of our liberation war were for the first time challenged at the levels of international justice in The Hague. In all this process we had KLA truth and people's support. ”
He adds that “is sad that even today, after 20 years, our liberation war continues to be tested and challenged in The Hague, in the trial of our fellow fighters”.
“U n The CK has no stop after 20 years. I am convinced that our fellow fighters will soon return to Kosovo free. Builders hoping to finally end the slander and factories for our liberation war. ”
Limaj has said it is the sad “” that Kosovo is doing little in defense of history and truth.
Also, it is sad to see that Kosovo, although it is a state, is doing little in defense of its history and truth, upon which this state is built. Forever proud of our liberation war; it cannot be stained; it is pure as tears. Hail KLA! Glory to the martyrs of the nation! ”/Periscopi/
