By LDK s'japin positive signals for the possibility of the pre-election coalition with NISMA

Democratic League of Kosovo member Krenar Xhaferi has ruled out the possibility of establishing a pre-election coalition between the LDK and the Social Democrat Initiative.

Xhaferi has explained that, according to him, the LDK adapts to co-operating only with parties and individuals with whom there has been stable co-operation in past years.

“As for the coalition with the Initiative, it is actually an issue to be approved by the LDK General Council. I am part of this council, but I believe that the LDK suits a form of co-operation with those parties we've been competing with and cooperating with over the years in the elections. The LDK format should be with those we have traveled politically over the years. There may be young actors who believe in this party, but not with persons or parties who have been political opponents of the LDK during the years”, he has declared.

Xhaferi has stressed that he personally prefers the LDK to compete alone in elections, with its logo and programme.

I personally would not like to see any sign other than the Democratic League of Kosovo, and in that sense I vote in the General Council, so that the LDK symbol will be alone in this election process, which we have”, Xhaferi said in the 1st.
