Kurt to “Force day”: We have a well - equipped army, new generations will live in peace

In his speech Kurti said the new generations are increasingly safe thanks to the Kosovo Army, without what stressed the sacrifice of martyrs, starting with Chief Commander Adam Yasar.

It is a happy day for all of us because with the Kosovo Security Force, with this army equipped so well and increasingly, new generations will be safe to live in peace, develop and thrive. On one side we have the sacrifice of the martyrs of the nation, on the other side of all of the commander Adam Yasar and the Jashar family, then the veterans and the disabled of the KLA, and on the other hand we have all these children who came to see their army warm their hearts and make them feel good about their future and for all the citizens and families in Kosovo” Kurti said.

He said the KSF was earlier very little armed, while investments have now been made over 430m euros, reports Online Economy, broadcast Periscope.

“Mbi 430m euros is investment in weapons and equipment in the past four years. Previously, our army had only type rifles and revolvers, which means it was less equipped than the Kosovo Police. Meanwhile, it is now equipped with modern technology and growing, as we now have doubles of boots on the ground of our soldiers and also of our eyes in the sky because we have equipped the army with drones, and we will soon have the ammunition and the production of bombs “Made in Kosova”, Kurti said.

He has thanked the United States of America and all partners who are at the side of Kosovo and are supporting him.

And we're in the process of getting Black Hawk helicopters, and this is where we should thank our allies, NATO, in particular the United States of America, that is also close to our equipment, weapons and ammunition, but also training.
