In a post made on Facebook today, the KLA's OVL said 13 years ago the truth that has always been known was fair, liberation and clean.
According to the organisation, the decision on Haradinaj represented not only justice for a commander, but for the whole KLA war.
“13 years ago, the Kosovo Liberation Army won a historic victory in front of Serbia and its groundless accusations.
The Hague sealed the truth that we have always known, our war has been fair, liberation and pure.
Ramush Haradinaj's plea was not just a justice for a commander, but a justice for the entire KLA war. It was evidence that even when faced with political judgments, the truth of our war comes out victorious”, the Veterans' Organization wrote.
The KLA's OVL has expressed confidence that innocence will also be confirmed for other former KLA leaders facing justice in The Hague.
“Today, as then, O VL KLA stands with the same steadfast faith until justice confirms Hashim Thaci's innocence, Kadri Veselin, Rexhep Selimi, Jakup Krasniqi, Salih Mustaf, Peter Shala, Fadil Fazliu, Isni Kilajt and the Smaj Union.
As the right for other commanders has been proved, the white day will come for them, because the KLA war has never been tarnished, nor on the battlefield, nor on court”, is said in response.
