Full announcement:
Hungarian troops of the KFOR Tactic Reserve Battalion (KTRBN) held joint exercises for the control of Mobs and Troubles (CRC) with EULEX personnel, further strengthening co-operation between the two missions.
The event focused on improving coordination, sustainability and making decisions under pressure, enabling teams to refine tactics and increase interoperability during complex security situations.
Such joint exercises are essential to ensuring effective and well-signed reactions in demanding environments by supporting the mission's readiness and contributing to a safe environment for all people in Kosovo.
KFOR continues to implement its 1999 UN Security Council Resolution 1244 to contribute to a secure environment for all people living in Kosovo and freedom of movement at any time and impartially. KFOR works in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union's Mission to Rule of Law in Kosovo (EULEX), in their respective roles as security respondents.
