Italian police discover large drug trafficking ring led by Albanian groups

Brescia Financial Police have discovered a large drug trafficking ring operating in the province. As a result of the investigation, the investigative judge has signed two arrest warrants and a total of 24 precautions, among which nine arrests in the Brescia area. According to the investigation, international drug trafficking was run by the Albanian clan. Authorities seized a large sum of money. Drugs entered Italy from two main directions: cocaine came from South America, while heroin from Albania.
The investigation also found that some bus drivers were carrying drugs unconsciously, while some truck drivers were consciously involved.
