Independence Festival, over 18 thousand Kosovo Albanians in the last 24 hours, passed to Morina

Hundreds of Kosovo citizens have chosen Albania to spend national holidays, creating a significant influx at Morina's Border Point. Besides private means, many others have travelled with organised groups, while Vlora remains the most popular destination. Travelers say they will visit other coastal and historical cities. [...]
In the last 24 hours alone, 64 buses have been introduced by Morina, while 17,789 citizens and 4,651 vehicles have entered total. Border authorities claim the influx was expected because of the holidays and that the process is being managed without delay.
To cope with increased entry and exits, 10 sports in both directions have been placed at the border point, fully implementing the free movement agreement between Albania and Kosovo.
