This fire has already been equated with the number of fire victims in the Sham Shui Po district, which killed 44 people and left hundreds more homeless in the city. About 227kg of fireworks stored in the building's facilities had caused the rapid spread of flames on top floors, South China Morning Post (SCMP) reported.
In November 1996, a fire at the Garley building in Kowloon killed 41 people and injured 81 others.
The deadliest fire ever recorded occurred in 1948 after an explosion on the ground floor in a five-story warehouse containing dangerous <x0). He left 176 people dead. /Periscope
