Under the law on general elections, voting outside Kosovo should be organised in the province of the Republic of Kosovo.
These polling stations were expected to be rented by the Kosovo Foreign Ministry, marking an unprecedented moment in organising the vote outside Kosovo. Most of them are restaurants.
Under the CEC's decision, the polling Centre will also open in additional spaces outside diplomatic representations, according to the proposal by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspore. Additional links include 10 polling centres (German 5; Switzerland 3, United Kingdom 1 and US 1) with a total of 43 polling and with the maximum number of voters registered to vote 40,850 voters.
