Drug and explosives seized in Puka, destination was Kosovo

According to the Albanian police announcement, the design was Kosovo.

A 29-year-old has been arrested in the case.

Finalized police operation code “vocator”

He transported drugs, explosives and militant ammunition by boat to Tropoja in order to traffic it towards Kosovo; he is put in shackles 29-year-old from Puka.

There are 1,2kg of narcotic cannabis, 405 grams of tritol, 51 tritol caps, 5m of fireballs, militant ammunition, and a lot of money.

DVP Kukes services, in collaboration with the Service of the Tropoj Police Commissioner and with the support of Special Force services “Eagle”, based on information provided on operational routes that a citizen would transport to Kosovo a quantity of narcotics and explosives, organised and finalised the police operation coded “Vrcator”.

As a result of this operation, citizen L was arrested in French. P., 29, resident of Puka.

This citizen was apprehended by police services, in the village of Dushaj, moving with the car “Volceagen”, in which he had hidden in the trunk of the narcics, explosives and combat ammunition, which were allegedly transported by boat across the lake from the village of Apripe, Puka, to Tropoj, where he had parked the vehicle with the intention of avoiding police control.

In co-operation with the Prosecutor and with Kosovo counterparts, work follows on whitewashing and full legal documentation of this case, with the aim of identifying and apprehending the person who would buy in Kosovo.

The procedure materials were passed on to the Prosecutor for further action.
