On this anniversary, Lahi Brahimaj is talking about confronting charges from March 9th 2005 to November 29th 2012, recalls his former fighters, who are being held at The Hague.
He wishes that very soon and former KLA leaders will come off victorious.
Today, on this day of commemoration and pride, we mark the 13th anniversary of victory of justice over injustice. Following an unfair and marathon process, since March 9th 2005, when we surrendered to The Hague Ramush Haradinaj, Lahi Brahimaj and Idriz Bala Qaeda until November 29, 2012, the truth of our fair war was confirmed. Today, our fellow fighters are facing similar challenges in The Hague. With pride, faith and deep respect, I wish that they too will soon come off victorious, honoring the KLA's values and sacrifice”, Brahimaj wrote.
Ramush Haradinaj's lawyer was Ben Emerson, who at a news conference had declared that former Hague tribunal prosecutor Carla Del Ponte should apologise Ramush Haradinaj.
