Belgrade court gives former KLA soldier Avni Qaj 30 days in detention

The Belgrade court has decided to continue the detention of former KLA member and Kosovo citizens, Avni Qaj, for 30 days, a verdict that has been confirmed by its defence lawyer, Xhevdet Smakqi. Smakqi has seen this move as illegal deprivation from freedom and has criticised the lack of effective diplomatic pressure from the Kosovo government.

“In the absence of a serious Kosovo government continue the kidnappings of former KLA members because the government is bringing in the most serious way that 5 years into the negotiations in Brussels Serbia easily violates the Brussels relations where freedom of movement and capital is guaranteed as fundamental human rights and fundamental EU principles, but that this right is not being applied to former KLA members<1.

“For members of the KLA citizens of the Republic of Kosovo Avni Qaj without any single proof the Court in Belgrade yesterday has assigned 30 days of detention instead of being released under effective diplomatic pressure from the normal and serious government that we lack”, he wrote.

He has stressed that the Dogs' family is lonely and is facing itself to protect the legal rights and freedom of movement of the detainees.

“The Dogaj family in these days of national holidays is in a state of distress and has been left alone without the support of the state that has fought and is forced itself to fight through private engagement with its lawyers to meet the legal rights of freedom of movement and for its family as if the Government of Kosovo has not existed, Smakqi wrote away.

According to him, Avni Qaj's innocence will triumph, but what meaning does the existence of the state of the Government of Kosovo mean when it fails in each area.

“Line for Avni Qaj and cheerful 28 The November in Belgrade's key, which is being kept kidnapped in opposition to international conventions”, has completed Smakqi's post. /Periscopi
