Visar Umer: VV failed in municipal assemblies

Political analyst Wisar Ymer has commented on the results of local elections, stressing that recent developments are not surprising, although there have been minor movements in some municipalities. The runoff results have not been surprising. To some extent, it has been following the result movement, the proximity between candidates, but in general it is the day it comes to being”, Ymer has declared, adding that it is already known which candidates have priority in the second round.
It's in “VV show” singled out the Mitrovica mayoral race as one of the most interesting of this election process.
“Sic has also been the campaign, one of the most interesting races has been Mitrovica, and the result has proved so. That we had those inconsistencies in the polytes and final results, but even now with the recounting of votes, what is being seen so far, the gap between candidates is slightly larger than the preliminary results. In general, I think it was a good result”, Ymer said.
However, according to him, one of the biggest surprises of these elections has been the poor performance of the Vetevendosje Movement in municipal assemblies, despite the increase in voting for several candidates for mayors.
“Befas has been the extremely weak performance of Vetevendosje Movement at the level of municipal municipalities along with an increase in the vote for candidates, such as Fushe Kosova. Perhaps LVV in these elections, such as the largest party in the country, has come out a little better with the mayoral candidates, but surprisingly has fallen as a local organisation, because the municipal assembly depends a lot on local organisation”, Ymer added.
