In one case, he even denies that he remembers the presence of his lawyer, Arianan Koci, reports “Justice Trust“.
However, although Koci on one occasion requested a private hearing for the witness, he denied an answer, and he made it known during the public hearing.
“out of the public session I don't want to answer”, Dobruna said.
Before that, prosecutor John Capin asked the witness whether he remembers meeting together in November 2024, two months ago.
The Witness responded with “po”. And with “jo”, he answered when asked whether he remembers the statements he had given in 2018 read at that meeting.
You remember we met a few days ago- last Friday. Remember that we met by video connection and you were in your office?
But on the other hand, Dobruna said she can't remember when she was asked if Koci was present at that meeting.
And your lawyer, Mr. Koci, was he present at that meeting?
“I remember the”, Dobruna responded.
Remember you told me to remember we met in November 2024?
You remember me saying you remember that in November 2024 we'd read the whole statement you gave in 2018, you told me you remember this?
The witness requested that the statement be read so that he could be remembered.
The prosecutor again went on to remind the witness, asking whether or not he had said that reading the earlier statement was tiring and making him very tired. In this regard, Dobruna responded “with certainty as remaining”. When the prosecutor asked whether he remembered that he had said so Friday, the witness denied it.
Then, Dobruna claimed she remembered that the prosecutor told him that he and Koci were there to prepare the witness for the testimony.
The witness denied that he remembered that the prosecutor told him that the purpose of the meeting was that he could make some clarifications and corrections in case he needed statements he gave in the past.
As a result, prosecutor Capin went on to ask the next question by telling the witness that he remembers reading the statements given in the past and that Dobruna was concerned if corrections might not be correct.
I know there's a lot of corrections, but I don't remember what corrections” responded afterwards to Dobruna.
The Witness responded when asked whether he remembered a note that reflected all the corrections he had made.
He also denied that a translator has read his previous statements to the witness.
“A we can go for a short time to the closed session”, Koci said, which was approved by the court. But after the opening of the session, Dobruna said she didn't want to testify at the closed session.
