At the meeting held in Lezha, Sali Berisha has challenged Edi Rama in a televised debate. He says the prime minister should explain to pensioners why they get less than in the neighbouring state of Montenegro.
“Our DNA is a special DNA. It has values, that DNA is love for the country, for the family, respect for human dignity, respect for the freedom of another, tolerance.
We are Democrats because we are tolerant. Never forget that.
If we, from the day of our founding to this day, come and go safely to victory, for we never fell into the snares of others, but remained tolerant of thinking otherwise, of attitude otherwise.
And once I tell you here, never stay in a party that doesn't let you say your thoughts, it's no longer a party of free people.
