After the arrivals in the coffin of the academic miner Dusi, Kurti is what has motivated him to change his mind about the Washington Agreement, but it has not been declared.
Kosovo maintains a strong bilateral relationship with the United States, based on their continued devotion to our sovereignty and integration into the EU and NATO. During Trump's mandate, economic agreements between Kosovo and Serbia were prioritised to promote stability, while the Biden administration has strengthened democratic institutions in the Balkans. The agreement reached on September 4th 2020 in the White House, signed between then Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and US President Donald Trump, Kurti had criticised his party, Vetevendosje Movement.
