Germany is facing severe winter weather conditions, causing major blackouts in air transport.
Heavy snow and rain clouds have particularly affected domestic flights, causing delays and cancellations at several airports.
Frankfurt Airport cancelled 120 flights from 1090 scheduled Sunday because of the snow that covered the tracks. Munich's airport also had restrictions, keeping only one track in operation.
According to the airport spokesman, 35 flights were cancelled on Saturday as a precautionary measure, while another 750 flights were postponed for Sunday.
