Foundation Prosecutor Gjakova has announced that the three ATK inspectors suspected of accepting bribes have been detained for 48 hours.
The prosecution's announcement reportedly demanded and accepted bribes from various business owners.
“The Founding Procuror in Gjakova, the Department of War Crimes, announces public opinion, that with the State Prosecutor's decision, it has stopped for 48 hours, defendants A.G., D.N., and E.Q., because of the suspicion that in the quality of ATK inspectors, at different time periods and at different locations in Gjakova, they had sought and accepted bribes from various business owners, with these actions formed a doubt that the same was based on the same criminal work <1x> the Mark <1x> from 421x> to KCHCHCHCH.
The Gjakova Foundation Procuror, has taken investigative action, implementing also particular investigative measures, to the same. At the request of the Gjakova Foundation Prosecutor, and by order of the Gjakova Foundation Court, by Dr.20.01.2025, there was a raid at three (3) different locations. The Constitutional Prosecutor in Gjakova reports that against defendants A.J., D.N., and E.Q., within the legal deadline, will apply for the appointment of the detention measure to the competent” Court, said further in the statement.
