The September discovery is set to be held at 13:30 in the courtyard of the Centre of Culture “Hasan Pristina” near the “Adem Jashar” in Skenderaj.
Leotrim Ahmeti as 7-year-old died on September 11, 1998, at the military hospital in Gradica, Drenas, where he was buried. Eight months after the assassination of Leutrim, his father, Malush Ahmeti, also testified as a warrior.
Today, 25 years are filled by the liberation of Squirreled by the Serbian Armed Forces. To mark this day the Skyeraj municipality has organisedmazhe in the memorial setting “Adem Jashari” in Prekaz, as well as in Marina.
A solemn session will be held in the Scikyright Town Assembly.
A memorial academy will be held to honor the martyrs and martyrs of this municipality.
An exhibition will also be held and a holiday concert for children will be held.
On June 12th marks the anniversary of NATO forces' entry into Kosovo, while bombings against Serbia had begun on 24 March 1999.
After 78 days of attacks, the bombings ended on June 10, 1999, with the approval of UN Security Council Resolution 1244.
Following the bombings thrown by the Allied forces for eleven weeks in a row, Serbia was forced to end ethnic cleansing and to remove police and military forces from Kosovo, thus enabling the return of Kosovo refugees to their homeland, temporarily sheltered and welcomed in Albania, Northern Macedonia, and to various parts of the world. /rtk
