After nearly a week, Kosovo Police have answered questions from the Nacional newspaper concerning the recommendation of the Kosovo Police Inspectorate for the suspension of the Murati capital.
Police have said that any IPK recommendation is implemented by Kosovo Police, implying that Murati has been suspended.
“On the matter you've been asking, we explain that when an employee at the KP is suspected of committing criminal acts, the case is handled by an institution outside KP. Then anything related to a concrete case being handled by IPK and reports regarding the case are issued by IPK. Also, there's a procedure that doesn't change, that any IPK recommendation is implemented by the KP, so there's no exception to the case you're interested in.It says in response to the police.
Last week, Wife of Riza Murat, Mrs. L. Murati told Nacional about the violence allegedly headed by the Kosovo Police Captain against her. In his confession, Mrs. L. explained the origin of violence and why she informed her husband, who is a senior police officer, in the police station.
