This plan does not solve problems, but creates new ones for the entire region. The Balkan border change priority could be very dangerous and could launch a new war,” has confirmed Gervalla-Schwarz, for Ukrainian news platform “European Pravda”.
The alternative, to this idea, she says, is “the extremely complex work of integration” of the Serb community in Kosovo.
Gervala adds further that Kosovo has no problems with our citizens of Serbian origin, but with the government of Serbia.
We have no problems with our citizens of Serbian origin. We are a democratic country and are willing to respect their rights. Instead, we have problems with the Serbian government and its president, Aleksandar Vuciq, for whom the situation around Kosovo Serbs is a means to retain his power”, says Gervalla-Schwarz.
Even Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister, Faithful Bisly, says our state should be ready for war, as it adds that a hybrid attack from Serbia can always start against us.
However, he says a conventional war is impossible now, as we are protected by KFOR peacekeepers.
