The maculla is the central part of the eye retina, which is responsible for its keenness. With age as well as because of other factors, such as smoking and genetic factors, it is up to collecting layers in the retina with what is being disturbed by the central field of gold.
The study of 2,500 adults over a ten - year period shows that the risk of early showing maculula degeneration will be reduced by 31% if during the week only once you consume fish, while eating nuts, nuts, almonds, and so on, several times over the week, reduces the risk of macular degeneration by 35%.
While the next study, conducted at 6,700 persons between 58 and 69 years of age, suggests that consuming olive oil (more than 100 mL a week) has a positive effect on protecting the macule from damage.
In these conditions, besides routine control of the doctor ophthalmist, you have to follow a balanced diet.
