Great news: A cancer vaccine is discovered, can eliminate tumors, tested in 11 countries

Outstanding results have reached an unprecedented “” study showing that an injection against triple-action cancer can eliminate all tumors in patients.

In an international study involving 11 countries, injection was offered to patients whose cancer had spread or returned and whose disease had failed to respond to other treatments, reports the report. The GuardianPerscope broadcast.

The injection, called"amvantamab", contracted the tumors of more than one third of patients, with dramatic changes observed within weeks. In 15 of them, doctors discovered that the drug had completely destroyed their tumors.

Kevin Harrington, professor of biological cancer therapies at the Cancer Research Institute, London (ICR), said: “These are strong unprecedented answers to patients whose disease has become resistant both to chemotherapy and immunosis. "

This is a group of patients whose treatment options are extremely limited, so seeing this level of profit is very surprising. ”

Harrington, also a consultant oncologist at the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation, added: “This treatment has the potential to benefit thousands of patients annually. ”

The results will be presented Sunday in Chicago at the world's largest cancer conference, the annual meeting of the American Clinical Oncology Association (ASC).

Tested by 102 patients with head cancer and neck, the sixth most common cancer in the world, was injectiond. Tumores contracted or disappeared completely on 43 patients, including 28 whose tumors contracted significantly and 15 who saw them completely extinct.

Researchers said the injection had also shown similar results in lung cancer patients. "Amivantamabi", developed by"Johnson & Johnson", is now being estimated in about 60 clinical trials, mainly for lung cancer, but also for horbal, brain and stomach cancer.

Intelligent injection targets cancer in three ways. It blocks both EGFR (receptor of epidermial growth), a protein that helps tumors grow, as well as MET, a path that cancerous cells often use to escape treatment. It also helps activate the immune system to attack the tumor.

One of the first patients to benefit was Carl Wales, 56, who was diagnosed with language cancer in May 2024 and joined the Ori test. g AMI-4 at Royal Marsden in July 2025.

I was first treated both with chemotherapy and immuno therapy, which unfortunately failed to succeed,” he said.

At that point, I was recommended for the OrigAM-4 test. Now I'm in my 17th cycle of treatment and I'm very pleased with progress so far. ”

Unlike many cancer treatments, <x0mvantamabi"is given as a small dose under the skin instead of an intravenous injection, making treatment faster and more suitable for patients and much easier to perform in ambulance clinics.

Most of the side effects of the treatment, given once every three weeks, were light to moderate, with less than one in 10 patients forced to discontinue their treatment.

Wash, from Birmingham, said: “Now I feel able to live a normal life. Before I started testing, I had difficulty speaking properly, and I found it difficult to eat because of swelling and pain.

“Since the beginning of the treatment, rising has been significantly reduced and my pain levels have improved significantly. I am also no longer experiencing the same side effects that affect my life during chemotherapy. ”

He added: “When things were in their worst condition, I ate soup, rice pudding, cans of ravioli and pacetium and many, many omelels, all added by three milk drinks prescribed a day. I lost a lot of weight.

After just two cycles of treatment, my diet began to become normal and I was eating a full diet in six months. The thing I liked best was the first big steak. My speech has become fully normal, and at work I regularly speak to headphones without problems. ”

The researchers also stressed that the study focused on people with head and neck cancer, which did not include those with scytomous oroparingeal positive cell carcinomas to human papyrus virus (HPV). This is especially important, they said, as head and neck cancers that are not caused by HPV are usually more difficult to deal with, making progress in this extremely important group.

Patients who receive <x0mavamab"lived on average 12.5 months in general after the treatment began, despite having a form of cancer with very poor results, as standard treatments stop working.

Prof. Christian Helin, executive director of the ICR, said: "This study shows how developing new treatments through rigorous cancer research can lead to significant advances, even for patients with very limited access. "

The achievement of this tumor response level and encouraging survival results in such a challenging group to be treated represents an important step forward.", he said.
