IKKPK: 25 witnessd cases in Kosovo, 5 new cases last week

Kosovo National Institute of Public Health ( The IKPK has announced that in the period April 16th, June 2026, a total of 25 cases confirmed by measles have been reported in the country.
According to data, five new cases were recorded during the past week.
Cases have been reported in several municipalities, including Ferizaj (8 cases), Pristina (6), Kacanik (5), as well as one case in Decani, Fushe Kosovo, Gjilan, Lipjan, Obilic and Shtime.
The IKKPK has called on citizens to appear immediately in health institutions in case of showing symptoms such as high fever, frying or changes in skin, cough and shaving.
“In view of the high contagion of measles and the risk of spreading it to the community, I The KSF calls on parents and stewards to verify the status of vaccinating their children and to provide vaculation according to the regular communication calendar at family medical centres.
