Albania's Prime Minister, Edi Rama, said US Secretary of State Antony Blinken's visit shows that the US considers Albania an important place and has a particular consideration for Albania's role has taken over to play in the region.
The latest “engagement at the Security Council, where Albania has received an extremely significant thanks from the United States representative, the ambassador to that table for the special contribution. Of course, this visit is also linked to a very strong trust by our strategic allies in Albania, to Albania's weight today in the region, and certainly with a particular consideration for Albania's role has taken over to play in the region as a country with the outstretched hand of friendship for all the tastes of our Balkan neighbourhood in the middle of Europe”, Rama said at the ATV CONEEXT.
He said Albania has climbed to another level in terms of its positioning and international presentation.
“Today Albania has climbed to another level in terms of its international positioning and presentation, thanks to a series of very important steps we have taken in our foreign policy, but also a series of unimaginable commitments, until it happened, to Albania's most important international policy tables”, Rama said.
