Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Donika Grovalla has asked Germany to remove Germany's current ambassador to Kosovo, Jorn Rohde, has understood Albanian Post from sources from Kosovo.
One source within Kosovo's MPJ and another within Germany's Embassy in Kosovo have announced to Albanian Post that Gervala's request was made on her last visit to Berlin, where besides meeting with Germany's Foreign Affairs Commission Chairman Michael Roth, there was a meeting with German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius.
At the January 31st meeting with Pistorius, prior to his visit to Pristina, Gervala has voiced her complaints about Rohde and his work in Kosovo.
The same sources have clarified that Gervalla has complained that the diplomat representing Germany in Kosovo “is interfering/incommodating too” and that he is writing too much on the “X” platform.
“It's been writing about matters that don't belong to it and should have left Kosovo”, it was Donika Gervala's request.
Rohde, however, is not the only German to complain about Gervala.
Being German citizens themselves, she, more as a citizen of Germany and less as a Kosovo diplomat, has expressed her negative opinions about Germany's envoy for the Western Balkans, Manuel Sarrazin.
Gervala, also spoke of Jens Plotner, the German Chancellor's adviser, Olaf Scholz.
For Plotner, one of the leading people engaged in drafting the Franco-German Plan, from which the Basic Agreement signed between Kosovo and Serbia, Grovall has said that it is being very involved in Germany's foreign policy for Kosovo and has entirely honoured Germany's MPJ.
Gervala has said that with her counterpart, Annalena Baerbock, there are good reports, but has complained that Plotner is leaving space for the minister and is thus leading Germany's foreign policy in relation to Kosovo and the Western Balkans by the Chancellor.
Albanian Post has also confirmed that German Ambassador Rohde is aware of Gervala's request to evacuate him.
This is not the first time Gervailla has criticism of Western diplomats and their approach to Kosovo.
In some cases she has expressed her attitudes even publicly.
More radical than any other time in an interview for Austrian newspaper Der Standard June 21st of last year.
Asked about the international positions then, following elections held in northern municipalities where Serbs boycotted the vote, Gervala had erupted.
Americans and Europeans at the time demanded that Albanian mayors elected with minimal votes work outside municipal objects as compromises for their lack of legitimacy.
Kosovo cannot commit political suicide even for its closest friends”, Gervala said.
“We as the West as a whole should not allow some troubled diplomats to put the region into war in a non-sacred alliance with Putin's representative, Vucic”, Gervala declared.
In any case we will defend our country because we protect the rule of law and democracy. You can't stop Vucic with either money or calm down with just a crystal attitude. The EU doesn't have this, because it's not united”.
It had also received direct criticism for concrete persons, such as the EU's special engage in dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak.
“EU representative for dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo Miroslav Lajcak often represents Vucic's stance. This is not only deadly for mediation; it encourages Vuciqi to escalate”, Gervala declared, the same positions that would later be heard by Kosovo's own prime minister, Albin Kurti.
