Last year and New Year's weather: frost, fog and snowfall

Kosovo's Hydromeorological Institute has published weather forecasts for the period from December 30th to December 3rd 2025.

According to the report, the weather will be mostly sunny, but few clouds during the days, especially in the mountain relief.

During the morning, frosts and conditions for fog are expected.

Weather details for the coming days:

December 30th: The weather will be mostly sunny and scarce clouds. Minimum temperatures will be between -7 °C and -3 °C, while maximum temperatures will range from 3 °C to 7 °C. Light wind from the northeast.

December 31st: The weather will be similar, with the sun and few clouds. The temperatures will range from -6 °C to -3 °C for the minimum and from 2 °C to 6 °C for the maximum.

January 1st: It's mostly sunny, but freezing and fog in the morning. The temperatures will range from -7 °C to 4 °C per minimum and 4 °C to 7 °C for maximum.

2 January ( Thursday): The weather will be similar to previous days, frost and fog.

3 January (April): Heavy clouds and summer snowfall are expected. The temperatures will be between -5 °C and -2 °C for minimum and 3 °C to 6 °C for maximum.

Due to the lighting of fireworks on the night of December 31st, air quality could deteriorate.

Based on the temperature, the institute also appeals to road users to be cautious because of freezing conditions and fog, especially in the morning.
