The vehicle with which immigrants were transported was seized in material testing quality.

It is finalised by the Department for Investigation of Illegal Traffic, in collaboration with the Road Police Sector, Operational Sector and the Gjirokastra Prosecutor, the operation code-named “Turn 11”, for the crackdown on a case of providing assistance for illegal border crossings.

During the operation, police services, on the road axis “Tepelene-Memaliyaj”, have signaled the ban to a vehicle suspected of carrying immigrants. The driver of the vehicle has disobeyed the sign of the ban but has continued to move quickly for several minutes and then abandoned the vehicle.
