The 120-day period for voter registration outside Kosovo has ended last night.
According to preliminary data, the number of Kosovo citizens registered as voters outside Kosovo in the period 29 August-26 December 2024, by 23:59, is 90,860.
Meanwhile, the number of applications under consideration is 18,244.
Examining these applications will continue today, according to CEC spokesman Valmir Elezi,
“The review of the accepted applications will continue even during Friday day and we will make efforts to have a final report as soon as possible for the number of registered citizens to vote outside Kosovo, divided in the manner of voting, and according to states”, Elezi has said.
Parliamentary elections will be held on February 9th.
This will be the first time there will be regular parliamentary elections since the declaration of independence in 2008.
