Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has not yet responded to journalists' interest if he will respond to the prosecution's invitation, which has been called a witness in a criminal case the Special Prosecutor has under investigation.
After completing the activity where the first results of the census were published events in which Prime Minister Kurti also gave the speech, he chose not to be declared abroad when journalists insisted on having an answer to the issue.
The government's reasons, on 16 December, were that the prime minister has been traveling abroad with an agenda confirmed earlier.
Government spokesman Progress Kryeziu had said on the day of December 16th that the Special Prosecution, respectively, prosecutors in the case, have been notified of Kurti's non-repression reasons.
However, he had indicated that Prime Minister Kurti has expressed readiness to welcome the case prosecutors to his office in one day and hours agreed on by both sides to meet the request issued by the prosecution's invitation.
