Although a permanent solution has not yet been made to repair the damage in the canal, a temporary solution has already been found.
An alternative solution has been set up to free the Iber Lepenci Canal from water flow and then is expected to become an assessment of the damage and its regulation.
In 07.12.2024, a week after the explosion took place in the Iber-Lepenci channel in Zubin Potok, the head of the Public Company “Iober Lepenci”, Faruk Mujka has announced that the damage assessment caused will be enabled and then based on this report will also begin rehabilitation of the channel in the fastest term possible.
