Every month, 550 Kosovars seek asylum in EU countries!
“From January to July of this year, on average over 550 Kosovars per month, have sought asylum in European countries” and, as reported in the EC report “this figure is significantly higher than the average in the past six years”.
This report says that several member states have reported significant increases in unbased asylum demands by Kosovo citizens since the beginning of 2024”.
The question is:
Why are citizens leaving Kosovo, when, according to Albin HIBRDI, Kosovo is experiencing unprecedented economic development?
