Russian bombings hit Albania's embassy in Kiev

Russia has bombed Ukraine's capital last night. According to information from these bombings, buildings containing the Albanian Embassy in Kiev have also been hit, reports Top Channel.

“A series of air attacks by the Russian Federation rocked Kiev on Friday morning, causing widespread damage in several areas in Ukraine's capital.

As a consequence of these attacks, the external facade and some spaces within the Republika Albania Embassy building in Kiev and embassies of five other countries were partially damaged, putting the lives of diplomatic personnel at risk. Only material damage is reported.

The Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs unequivocally condemns these brutal attacks. This senseless act is an attack on the very foundations of international diplomacy. Protection of diplomatic personnel and the invulnerability of missions are non-negotiable principles that must be respected and fully implemented”, the Ministry's statement said.
