President-elect of the United States Donald Trump has named Richard Grenelli emissar for special missions. Grenelli served as Trump's ambassador to Germany, as special presidential envoy for Kosovo negotiations- Serbia and as the task director of national intelligence during Trump's mandate 2017-2021.
He was the chief contender for the post of secretary of state, which Marco Ruboi received. He was also talked about special names for the war in Ukraine, which was later chosen by Keith Kellogg.
Trump will officially take office in January.
The American president can appoint a presidential or special one to focus on global issues, crises, or specific diplomatic efforts.
