K Institute Director IPRED, Lulzim Peci, speaking about the Special Prosecutor's invitation to Prime Minister Kurti in witness quality, has said the prime minister's invitation to Kurti's interview in the government building is a major absurdity.
“What impressed me here is the invitation from the prime minister to be interviewed in the Government building, I think this is a big absurdity because it's a kind of signal that has to do with the submission of the Special Prosecutor's institutions from a public institution what is prime minister”, Peci told RTV21.
On the other hand, he says government and Special Prosecution are two separate powers.
“These two powers are completely separate and each has its own work independently, and in this case it has been made wrong on the part of the prime minister when the prime minister is asked to be interviewed in the prime minister's offices, because the place where all the witnesses and suspects are interviewed is the prosecution, there is the location of”, Peci said.
Meanwhile, lawyer Ardian Bajraktari said he hopes Kurt will reflect and agree that an appropriate moment will be found to carry out this obligation.
” I am optimistic that the prime minister will reflect and agree to find a suitable moment for this obligation to be carried out in accordance with the legal responsibilities that both institutions have”, Bajraktari said, among other things.
He has said no one is released from the Special Prosecutor's invitation, including Prime Minister Kurti.
The strict legal amendments do not have, there are deadlines for which the vote, which is due within two years”, Bajraktari said.
He has further added that the prime minister is not immune to the prosecution's invitation.
