Pagats are low: Purchasers complain of prices, merchants say there are difficulties in supply

Last year's holidays have also raised prices on the market. That is what citizens who complain that the prices of products on the eve of holidays are usually higher.

Halil Gashi on Saturday made it to the Green Market in Pristina. As usual, he provided them with more necessities. But not as usual, prices at the market found the same. He says the awards are higher on the eve of the holidays.

“There are price hikes, salaries, pensions are low”, he said.

But traders say growth is easy. According to them, high demand and market supply shortages are among the causes of growth.

There's a lot of hard demand in supply. There is no increase - in just a few products such as bananas, Mandarins. Mostly the increase is up to 10 cents”, notes businessman Bekir Avdiu.

According to the Kosovo Statistics Agency, consumer prices for November are higher for 0.7% than the same period last year. /RTK
