AAK MP candidate Lahi Brahimaj has stressed the importance of national monuments as a vivid reminder of the sacrifice for Kosovo freedom. During a meeting with Director Imer Hakaj at the Agency for Management Monuments and Memorial Confusions, Brahimaj discussed maintaining and caring for KLA memorial complexes nationwide.
Part of the conversation was the commitment to the Memorial complex of the martyrs of the 132 and 135 brigades, Myrth and Agim Zenel, as well as a unique project expected to begin in January. This project aims at marking each Witness nation's location on the battlefield with special stones, turning to attention any sacrifices made for freedom.
Our “Monuments are more than marble stones they are the vivid memory of the subliment sacrifice for freedom,” said Brahimaj, stressing eternal devotion to these holy sites.
His commitment comes as evidence of the promise to take care of the national heritage and to honour those who gave everything for free Kosovo.
