Feeling legal responsibility under the official mandate, we have acted immediately after raising doubts about the safety of the Mandarin product, even though not having been designed by RASFF for products that are sent to any form or other market in Kosovo. Now with laboratory results released, it has been confirmed that Mandarins are safe for consumption. We will continue with cargo checks to import according to risk assessment, including additional control measures in all inspection stages, including sample seizures and laboratory tests. Any product aimed at our country's market is always inspected in monitoring the legal food safety criteria.
