42km of Zhur-Brod road axis, connecting the villages of Zhur, Dragash and Brod, has cost the state budget 8m euros.
For this investment, expected to pave the way for tourism in Dragash, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti is taking credit.
The contract for rehabilitation of this road was signed in July 2019 and totals the value of 8m euros.
From a post in 2018 of the former deputy minister at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, Mevludin Krasniqi has been set aside for the project since 6 years ago.
The former head of the Dragas municipality, Salim Jonuzi, said the Kurti Government has invested only in signalistics for this road.
In 2021 he had the tools off this road... then he hasn't been working at all. Several remaining jobs have been performed in the last two years, road signals, defences, and so on”, Jonuzi said.
According to the e-Procury platform, no tender has been opened since 2021 until May 2024. The only tender that was launched was for signaling.
