500 thousand is the number of votes Albin Kurti has asked Kosovo citizens in the February 9th 2025 parliamentary elections to form the only government again.
This, Kurti has done at a rally of supporters in Pristina's 1 October hall, in presenting candidates for MPs from LVV ranks, where he said these votes are necessary not to depend on the Serbian List, but not on other Albanian opposition parties, which he called the post-ex0-yeard”.
“500 thousand votes are not just aspirations for curiosity, but it is more necessary than ever to continue the good, right and necessary works that we have started for our republic, but not to depend on the Serbian List or the dismembered political club”, Kurti said.
The prime minister stressed that dependence “on them is at the expense of Kosovo”.
“Hanging on to them means two things: either you don't want good for Kosovo, or you're consumed by more than 20 years of decoordination of the country's institutions and cripples”, he added.
As for VV's list of highly criticised VV candidates, Kurti praised it, while stressing that the same has a wide range of professions inside it.
“From 1 to 110 we find: 17 doctors, 12 engineers and 3 others from exact sciences, 12 lawyers, 20 economists, 8 from political sciences and European integrations, 12 from other social sciences, 3 from international relations, 8 from Albanian and foreign, 5 from mass journalism and communication, 2 from agriculture, 3 from military fields, 3 from art and culture, and 4 from sports”, Poteni Kurti.
