According to him, this could be done in co-ordination with KFOR.
“I believe the request was discussed with the prime minister, to support the police and KFOR to carry out their mission in the north. KFOR is not a stumbling block, but for the security and stability of a partner force. With a NATO mandate, we consider the fact that we have to coordinate with them. The KSF is the force designed to operate in every part of Kosovo. We aim to make preliminary co-ordination with KFOR when it needs surgery. KFOR has a mandate to guard the borders, not to leave the return of Serbian occupational forces. And if KFOR continues to show seriousness in relation to the” mandate, it is expressed in KTV's interactive.
When estimated to need participation, the KSF will be there (in the north) and this will be done in co-ordination with KFOR. I estimate the KSF has mandated to operate throughout the territory. The requirement for co-ordination is operational issue, not mandate. It is not questioned or mandated to be the KSF in the north, in question is the operational aspect and the need for co-ordination”, he added.
“is not prohibited but pre-ordination is required. We aim to make preliminary co-ordination when it needs to be operated north of our country”, Macedonia said.
