KLA veteran Shala's day remembers martyrs, Kosovo freedom fighters

He recalls that at that time, while the war was at its height, at the home of hero Imer Krasniqi of Malisheva's Caralluska was having a wedding where Imer's son was getting married.
Shala, along with her fellow fighters, had participated in many battles, gaining ground in the Lapusnik Gorge -- a strategic point connecting Pristina and Pec.
After a great battle won, they headed to celebrate the hero's wedding, spreading joy for victory and hope for a free future.
On this day of KLA veterran, Shala has honoured all fighters who fought for Kosovo's freedom, stressing the sacrifices and bravery of those who overcame fear and fought for freedom.
He has expressed respect and honour for the Lapusnik Grip and surrounding villages who gave their lives for Kosovo's freedom.
