KKP leader responds to Kurti's attacks on the Prosecutor: Everyone is equal to the law

Kosovo Prosecutorial Council chief Ardian Hajdaraj has said the council gives full support to the Special Prosecutor, in a response to Prime Minister Albin Kurti's attacks on the prosecutor's leader, Blerim Isufaj.

At a weekend conference held today in Pristina, Hajdaraj said political statements have become frequent.

“As far as the prime minister's statements are concerned, we do not comment on political statements. I can say that we have often reacted to the attacks made with political statements, I have nothing to add, you are reported that today chief prosecutor Isufaj has a press conference. It will respond in more detail, but it may add, that the KKP gives full support to the Special Prosecutor in implementing the full constitutional mandate, all are equal before law”, Hajdaraj said.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti has seriously attacked the prosecutorial system on Sunday, in a conversation at the post office” Runway”.

The government chief has particularly attacked Chief Prosecutor Blerim Isufajn.

Kurti has said they have delivered hundreds of cases, but prosecutors are acting like “snails”. And when there are cases against the government, prosecutors are becoming <x2-legulous”.
