Through a status on social networks, Hoxhaj wrote: “Kosovo, each year marked historic victories in its international position. And today, under government leadership Kurti, we face sanctions and losses. ”
His statement was made on the day when Kosovo's application for membership for the European Union is marked, a process that has remained blocked and without concrete progress.
He has accompanied this criticism with a video featuring the historical achievements of previous governments, while he himself was part of the government and part of these achievements, including the signing of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (MSA) and the EU agreement on access to its programmes.
The anniversary of the EU membership application turns attention to the lack of progress in this direction, while Kosovo has also faced sanctions and pressures from international partners due to current government policies.
