Brussels today will gather EU and Western Balkan leaders at a summit. Meetings related to political and economic co-operation between the European Union and the Western Balkans are envisioned during this meeting.
The Republic of Kosovo will be represented by President Osmani. The summit's main theme is expected to be EU enlargement with the involvement of the Western Balkans, as well as to be dealt with in particular: The Growth Plan for the Western Balkans, Economic and Investment Plan, Green and Digital Age for the Western Balkans, as well as other areas such as the Joint Foreign and Security Policy, combating hybrid and cyber threats, and migration”, the Kosovo Presidency announced.
The meetings are scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m., while after a news conference at 7:30, there will also be a working dinner of leaders, expected to begin at 20:30.
