CEC reports registered voters from diaspora will be removed from lists within Kosovo

It is the legal obligation for the CEC for each voter registered to vote outside Kosovo to get rid of the list of voters within Kosovo, which is distributed in elections on election day. So, a citizen who is registered to vote outside Kosovo will find his name for the vote only on the voter list outside Kosovo. This information, we, have personally transmitted to every citizen who has applied and is registered to vote outside Kosovo, whether to vote in diplomatic representation or through mail”, Elesi said.

Elez has said Kosovo citizens living abroad and who are not registered as voters outside Kosovo will find their name on the Voters' List distributed in the polls and can vote on February 9th 2025 at their deployment in Kosovo.
