Three arrested in Germany, preparing extremist attacks

Two young supporters of the Islamic State group and another associate have been arrested in Germany on allegations that they were preparing an attack, authorities have said. Two German-Libanese brothers 15 and 20 years old from Mannheim and a 22-year-old German-Turkish from Hesse were arrested on Sunday, the AP reported.
The brothers are accused of preparing an attack motivated by their religious ideology and <x0 minuspatia” for the Islamic State group, buying, among other things, a rifle and ammunition.
The investigators found more weapons. Suspects are on hold pending indictment.
German prosecutors and police have said there has never been a concrete threat to the public”.
