The alert was given by the meteorologist of A2 CNN, Tanja Porya, on our day, under which high-intensity rainfall and the rains affecting Albania and the countries of the region will jeopardise floods.
“From November 12, 13, 14th, rainfall will be empowered eastward, including southern Italy and Albanian territory since November 11th and following high-intensity rainfall will include part of the Balkans, Albania, Montenegro and Kosovo, northern Macedonia. The clouds are expected to be 50-70mm at a three-hour interval. All of this increases the risk of flooding. The clouds will be moderate and high-tensity”, Porja said in A2.
According to her “Albania and 3 neighbouring countries are expected to face intense and torrential storms that find the dry territory causing the possibility to be absorbed is very small, and this increases the risk of flooding”.
We remember that Europe has been involved in intense rainfall that has hit the Iberian Peninsula, causing hundreds of casualties in Valencia. The intense clouds have included Majorca, Ibizan, and Barcelona on yesterday, while Andalusia is also at risk.
