Turkey's mayor is dead, allegedly killed by his nephew

Hilmi Sen, chairman of the Baliseykh municipality in the province of Kirikale in Turkey, was killed today after an armed attack. His driver is also dead, while three others have been injured during the attack.

The attacker allegedly was the mayor's nephew and reportedly told the officers who arrested him that he killed the mayor because he failed to keep his promise to hire him. Hilmi Éen, who was elected mayor of the New Goodness Party, resigned from his party last July.

Sen, who continued his office independently, was seriously injured as a result of an armed attack by suspect E.howy in the centre of the circle this morning.

The mayor of Balışeyh Hilmi Éen and three others were taken to the county hospital in an ambulance, but he couldn't survive your injuries. /TRT Haber/
