Authorities in Spain said 78 people are still missing, ten days after the state faced the most catastrophic storms in the last 100 years.
The government in Valencia, the most flood-hit region, published this figure on the X platform. Similarly, the number of missing was 93.
The official number of victims from the flooding is 219. In Valencia alone, the lifeless bodies of 211 persons have been found so far, while eight victims have registered in the nearby Castilla areas- La Manchas and Andaluz.
Since then, other regions of Spain have also faced bad weather. Heavy rains have caused floods in Catalonia on Thursday and Friday, and the island of Majorca has also been hit hard by floods.
In Valencia, authorities are continuing to seek missing, even though regional authorities have said that 40 lifeless bodies that have been found have not yet been identified. He fears some of the victims may have ended up in the Middle Sea.
Also, authorities in Spain are continuing to clean up 75 towns and villages that have been affected by the floods. Many buildings are still calm or hard to reach, as roads are partially blocked by cars or even by the ruins of buildings.
